Free postal entry

A valid free postal entry receives one number from the same competition ticket pool and is included in the same draw as a paid entry. You do not need to make a purchase or bank transfer.

Competition dates

What to send

Write the following clearly on a postcard, or on paper placed inside one envelope:

• your full legal name;
• your date of birth;
• your full residential postal address;
• your email address and telephone number;
• the exact competition title and the words “Free Entry”;
• your signature beneath this statement: “I confirm that I am aged 18 or over, normally resident in England, Scotland or Wales, and accept the Terms & Conditions.”

Important conditions

• Do not post before the advertised opening time for your competition.
• Send only one free entry in each separately posted envelope.
• Use ordinary first- or second-class post with the correct postage. Recorded, special-delivery, courier, hand-delivered, bundled or bulk-delivered entries are not accepted.
• The entry must arrive before the advertised closing time. Posting it before closing does not guarantee arrival.
• Incomplete, illegible, unsigned, underpaid or ineligible entries are rejected and retained in the administration record without receiving a ticket.
• Capacity is shared by paid, promotional and postal entries. Entries are processed in the order valid cleared payments or complete postal entries are received.
• A valid postal entry is not marked or treated differently in the draw.

After a postal ticket is issued, BRICE sends the number to the email address supplied. If you did not already have an account, create one later using exactly the same email address; after verification, the postal ticket will appear under My Tickets.
