Responsible Participation
Prize draws are entertainment, not a way to make money or solve financial problems. Only spend what you can comfortably afford to lose.
BRICE protections
- Participation is restricted to verified customers aged 18 or over in England, Scotland and Wales.
- Every account has a monthly paid-entry limit of no more than £250. Customers can lower it to any amount, including £0.
- Customers can pause participation for seven days, suspend it for at least six months, or close their account permanently.
- Suspended customers cannot buy entries, use promotional rewards or enter by post using the suspended account, and marketing is stopped.
- BRICE may intervene or suspend participation where activity indicates possible financial or personal harm.
- Credit-card checkout is not offered. Paid orders use bank transfer and tickets are issued only after cleared funds are manually verified.
Warning signs
Stop and use the controls above if you are spending more than planned, trying to recover losses, hiding participation, borrowing money, or feeling anxious about prize draws.
